Car engine to siphon swimming pool to stop fire?
Suppose you have a car, a swimming pool and a house that needs protection from wildfire.
How would you use the car engine to siphon the swimming pool and pump water into sprinklers positioned on the house roof?

I go with getting a small generator to power the pool pump.
You could run some steel or copper pipe up over your house and connect it into the pool return line using valves to turn off the return to pool and divert the flow into the sprinkler system.
